As an avid reader, I have always been fascinated by books. I love the heft of a hardback, the feel of printed pages, the typefaces, and, of course, the covers.

I ignore the old adage that you can't judge a book by its cover and frequently find myself choosing a book because it looks amazing.

For me, the book design process is especially compelling. Creating a cover that speaks to the essence of the content is both challenging and rewarding. I also find the interior layout and page-by-page production oddly satisfying—a nice break from the hard work of coming up with ideas.

Over the years, I've been lucky enough to design a number of books and am always looking for more opportunities. This portfolio shows a few of my favorites.
